What is Vocana?
Vocana is an independent-only music streaming platform focused on discovery through people, not algorithms, and on paying artists based on real fan listening rather than pooled, pro-rata subscription models.
How do I get the app?
Vocana is on the App Store and Google Play. Get the app
What happens when I sign up?
You create an account, then drop three artists you love. Vocana uses them to build your Sonic Profile and shape your starting feed. You can run your Sonic Profile again later from inside the app.
Who is Vocana for?
Real music fans, the ones who love discovering new artists and supporting them, and independent musicians looking to connect with listeners who actually care.

Is every artist on Vocana independent?
Yes. Vocana's catalog is independent-only, with no major labels.
What is a Hub?
A Hub is a community inside the app built around a sound, a scene or a shared obsession. Join a Hub to connect with fans and join conversations around music that matches your vibe. About Hubs
I can't find an artist. Why?
Vocana carries independent releases delivered through our distribution partners. If an artist isn't on Vocana yet, they can find out how to join on the For Artists page.
Account & subscription
How much does Vocana cost?
Nothing right now. Vocana is in free beta, so early listeners use the app free while we test it and make it better.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Go to your account settings, open Manage Your Account and choose Cancel. It takes effect the day after your current period ends.
How do I delete my account?
In the app, go to Settings, then Manage Account, then Delete Account. This permanently deletes your account and your information, though some data may be kept where the law requires. Questions: support@vocana.co.

How does Vocana pay artists?
Vocana uses a user-centric payment model: an artist's earnings are based on the fans who actually listen to their music. Instead of all subscription revenue being pooled and divided by total streams, a listener's subscription supports the artists they spend time with. Full explainer
I'm an artist. How do I claim my page?
Create an account in the Artist Portal, search your artist name and verify ownership. Claim your page
